Before you start, please view what is the Impact of Deleting Devices in LMX Content Platform

Important Note:

  • Once deleted, the device will be permanently removed from the CMS.

  • All historical playlogs tied to the device will no longer be accessible or downloadable.

  • If you're unsure, consider deactivating the device as “archived” instead of deletion.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Login to CMS

Note: Login does not require an email address.

2. Navigate to Device Manager

  • Click on Device Manager from the main navigation menu.

  • You’ll see a list of all registered devices and their current status.

  • Use the search bar to locate the device(s) you intend to remove.

3. Identify Inactive Devices

  • Look for devices with:
    Red/offline status
    Last Seen date older than your expected threshold

  • Apply filters if needed:
    Status = Inactive or Offline
    Last Seen > Older than X days
