Moving Walls Inventory
This guide walks through the Import History feature in Moving Walls Inventory, used to review the status of bulk inventory imports, check successful results, and diagnose failed imports.
Overview
Import Status | Meaning |
Completed | All records in the file were imported successfully. |
Failed | One or more records could not be imported. Error details and a corrected template are available for download. |
Part 1: Viewing Import History
Log in to Inventory and go to the Inventory section from the left-hand menu.
Click New Import (top right) to start a fresh bulk import, or Sync to refresh the list of past imports.
The Import History table lists every bulk import operation, showing the Import ID, Status (Completed or Failed), Total Records, Success and Failed counts, and the Created/Completed timestamps.

Use the Search imports box to locate a specific import, or click View Details in the Actions column for any row to drill into that import.
Part 2: Reviewing a Successful Import
From the Import History list, click View Details on a row with a Completed status.
Import History — opening View Details on a Completed import
The Import Details page opens, showing four summary cards — Status, Total Records, Success Rate, and Failures — plus an Import Information panel (Import ID, Created and Completed timestamps) and a Summary panel (Total Records, Successful Imports, Failed Imports, Success Rate).
For a fully successful import, Success Rate reads 100.0% and Failures reads 0. Click Refresh at any time to re-check the latest status.
Import Details — a Completed import with a 100% success rate
Part 3: Diagnosing a Failed Import
From the Import History list, click View Details on a row with a Failed status.
Import History — opening View Details on a Failed import
The Import Details page shows Status: failed, a 0.0% Success Rate, and the number of Failures. A Download Failed Template button appears next to Refresh, letting you export the failed rows to correct and re-upload. An Import Error panel lists the raw error returned for each affected record.
Import Details — a Failed import, with Download Failed Template available
Scroll down to the Import Failures table for a readable, row-by-row breakdown: Index, Inventory Name, Error Message, and Created time. In this example, every failed record was rejected because its country/coordinates fall outside the media owner's approved market access.
Import Failures — per-record error detail
Fix the flagged records in the source file (or in the downloaded failed template) and submit a New Import to re-try.
