A glossary of common MW Planner terms — DOOH, inventory, geo-fencing, impressions, reach, flight dates, line item, and creative.

9. Glossary

A few terms used throughout Planner that may be unfamiliar to new users:

  • DOOH (Digital Out-of-Home) – Digital advertising displayed on screens in public spaces, such as billboards or transit displays.

  • Inventory – The physical screens or advertising sites available for booking.

  • Geo-fencing – Drawing a custom geographic boundary on a map to target a specific area.

  • Impressions – The estimated number of times an ad will be seen.

  • Reach – The estimated number of unique people who will see the campaign.

  • Flight Dates – The start and end dates a campaign is scheduled to run.

  • Line Item – A specific inventory booking within a campaign, such as one screen or site, used in Influence to organize and assign creatives.

  • Creative – The actual video or image file that plays on screen for a given line item.
