Deal & Campaign Types
Q: What is a Direct campaign?
A: A traditional advertising campaign. Any campaign that is not programmatic is classified as Direct.
Q: What is a Programmatic Guaranteed (PG) deal?
A: A programmatic agreement where a publisher reserves a fixed amount of ad inventory for a specific advertiser at a pre-agreed price. Unlike auction-based deals, there is no bidding — the advertiser receives the reserved inventory on the agreed terms.
Key features: guaranteed inventory, fixed pricing, an exclusive agreement with one advertiser, and predictable delivery.
Q: What is a Preferred Deal?
A: A non-guaranteed programmatic arrangement where advertisers bid on inventory at a fixed eCPM. The number of impressions is not fixed, and advertisers pay only for impressions actually delivered.
Key features: non-guaranteed inventory, fixed eCPM pricing agreed before the campaign starts, a direct one-to-one agreement, and payment only for delivered impressions.
Q: What is a Private Auction deal?
A: A programmatic arrangement where a publisher offers premium inventory to a selected group of advertisers through a private bidding process. There is no guaranteed delivery volume; invited advertisers submit bids based on eCPM (cost per 1,000 impressions), and the advertiser with the highest eligible bid wins the impression.
Q: What is an Evergreen (PMP) deal?
A: A non-guaranteed programmatic deal that lets advertisers purchase available inventory through a private marketplace. There is no fixed impression commitment; advertisers participate in an auction and pay only for impressions actually delivered.
Q: What is the general process for creating a Programmatic campaign?
A: 1. Enter the campaign name (Media Type defaults to DOOH).
2. Select the brand and campaign type (Direct or Programmatic).
3. If Programmatic, optionally mark the campaign as non-billable.
4. Select the country the campaign will run in (only countries available to your account are shown).
5. Optionally enable Hard Stop to automatically stop delivery once the goal is reached.
6. Select the DSP (Demand-Side Platform) and the associated buyer.
7. Select the transaction type — Spot (priced by number of spots played) or Audience (priced by impression value).
8. Select the currency and enter the total budget.
9. Choose a Goal Type appropriate to the transaction type, then complete Seller details (Seller, Contact Number, Email).
10. Click Create Campaign.
Q: What Goal Types are available for a Spot-based campaign?
A: • None – no delivery goal is set.
• Share of Voice – optimizes delivery to reach a specified percentage of total advertising activity on the selected screens.
• Ad Plays – optimizes delivery to reach a specified total number of ad plays.
Q: What Goal Types are available for an Audience-based campaign?
A: • Impressions – maximizes the total number of ad views/exposures delivered.
• Reach – maximizes the number of unique users who view the campaign; when selected, you specify a target number of Unique Users.
Q: What's the difference between Spot Based and Audience Based transaction types?
A: Spot Based pricing is based on the number of spots played in the selected inventory. Audience Based pricing is based on the impression value measured in the selected inventory.
Line Items
Q: How do I add a new line item?
A: After a campaign is created, you're redirected to the Add Line Item page automatically. For an existing campaign, open the three-dot (⋮) menu, select View Line Items, and click New Line Item.
Q: What creative types can a line item use?
A: Display, Video, and Audio.
Q: How does line item Priority work?
A: Priority determines the order in which line items are considered when multiple campaigns compete for the same inventory.
• Values range from 1 (highest priority) to 10 (lowest priority).
• When multiple line items are eligible for the same screen/time slot, the system evaluates higher-priority items first.
• Typical usage: Priority 1 for premium/sponsorship campaigns, Priority 5 for standard campaigns, Priority 8 for house/internal ads.
Assign priorities carefully so business-critical campaigns are preferred when competing for inventory.
Q: What creative durations are supported?
A: 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, or 60 seconds. The selected duration must match the duration of the creative file being used.
Q: What is the Unlimited Budget toggle?
A: When enabled, the line item is not restricted by a budget cap. When disabled, you must configure a specific budget for the line item.
Q: What does Pacing control, and what are the options?
A: Pacing controls how delivery is distributed across the flight:
• ASAP – deliver as fast as possible.
• Even – spread delivery uniformly across the flight (default).
• Front Loaded – deliver more impressions early in the campaign.
Q: What does the Delivery section's 'Threshold Count Per Day' do?
A: It sets the maximum number of impressions or ad plays that can be delivered per day for the line item. Once the daily threshold is reached, delivery pauses until the next day.
Q: How does the Cost section work?
A: You specify the delivery rate for the line item, and the system automatically calculates the total cost based on that configured rate.
Q: What are Custom Fees, and are they mandatory?
A: Custom Fees let you add extra charges to a line item — such as agency commissions, data fees, premium placement charges, or ad verification fees — which are included in the overall campaign cost. Adding a custom fee is optional, not mandatory.
To add one: click Add Fee, then enter a Name, an Amount, and a Type (Fixed = flat amount in the campaign currency, or Percentage = a percentage of media cost). Optionally check Invoice if the fee should be included on the invoice.
Q: After saving a line item, what's next for a programmatic deal?
A: 1. Click Request for Approval — this sends the request to the corresponding DSP for review.
2. If Moving Audience Xchange (MAX) is the DSP, log in to MAX DSP, go to Direct Deals, open the campaign, click Accept, then configure and save an order (Order Name, Brand, Direct Deal) before proceeding.

A: Geography, Age Group, Gender, Income, Interests, Points of Interest (POI), Venue Type, Ad Resolution, and DOOH Inventory Type. All targeting fields support multiple selections.
Q: Can I target locations outside the campaign's selected countries?
A: No. Geographic targeting at the line item level is limited to the countries already selected in the parent campaign.
Q: What tools are available for Geography targeting?
A: • Circle Draw Tool – draw a circular area by selecting a center point and radius.
