Part 1: Starting a New Inventory Record

  1. From the Inventory list, click Add Inventory. The Add Inventory wizard opens on step 1, Classification, with the remaining five steps shown across the top: Location, Operations, Pricing & Terms, Media, Panel.

A Classification Tips panel on the right explains that Venue Type Parent sets the core category of the inventory, Format specifies the display technology, and Size Category helps buyers filter inventory by physical dimensions.

Part 3: How Venue Type Controls the Format Field

  1. The Format field depends entirely on the Venue Type Grand Child chosen. Selecting Athletic Facilities leaves Format disabled, reading "No formats available," since no display format is mapped to that venue type.
