Deals - Campaign Proposal Creation Process

The Deals module in LMX — Plan a Campaign's 4-step proposal flow: Campaign Details, Recommendations (inventory selection), Estimation Summary, and Digital Schedule configuration.

Module 3: Deals

The Deals module is where publishers create campaign proposals, manage advertiser bookings, and track all campaigns on the platform. It has two sub-modules: Plan a Campaign and All Campaigns.

3.1 Plan a Campaign

Plan a Campaign walks publishers through a structured 6-step process to create a campaign proposal — from entering basic campaign details through to generating and downloading a professional proposal document.

Step 1 — Campaign Details

The starting point for every campaign. Complete all required fields then click Find Units to proceed to inventory selection.

Field / Setting

Description

Campaign Name

Auto-generated name (e.g. Campaign_2006). Editable using the pencil icon.

Dates

Campaign start and end date — mandatory. All estimation metrics are calculated based on this date range.

Media Type

Pre-filled as OOH — cannot be changed

Choose Buyer / Agency

Select Direct Buyer or Agency as the buyer type for this campaign

Creator

Auto-populated with the logged-in user's name

Account Executive

Optional — select the AE responsible for this campaign

Opportunity ID

For Salesforce-integrated publishers only. Links the campaign to an existing CRM opportunity.

Advertiser

Mandatory — enter the name of the brand or advertiser the proposal is being prepared for

Note: Two publisher workflows exist: (1) CRM-integrated publishers (Salesforce) must enter the Opportunity ID to link campaigns. (2) Non-CRM publishers skip the Opportunity ID field entirely.

Step 2 — Recommendations (Inventory Selection)

After clicking Find Units, the system loads the Recommendations page showing all available inventories for the campaign's date range. This uses the same calendar grid as the Availability View, with the addition of cart functionality.

View Options

Field / Setting

Description

Calendar View (Default)

Colour-coded availability grid identical to Availability View

Map View

All inventories plotted on an interactive map with location pins

List + Map View

Split screen — inventory list on the left, map on the right. Shows: Name, Location, Impressions, Share of Time, Next Available Date, Add to Cart button.

List View

Clean tabular list of all inventories

Adding Inventories to Cart

Field / Setting

Description

One by One

Click the 3-dot action menu (⋮) on any inventory row → select Add to Cart or View Inventory

Multi-select

Check multiple rows using the checkboxes, then click the bulk Add to Cart button that appears at the top showing the selected count

Note: Filters on the Recommendations page: Availability (Available / Not Available), Environment (Indoor / Outdoor), State, DMA. Search by inventory name, ID, or location.

Step 3 — Estimation Summary

Once inventories are added to the cart, an Estimation bar appears at the top of the page. All values are dynamically calculated based on the campaign date range and the selected inventories.

Field / Setting

Description

Impressions

Total estimated impressions across all selected inventories for the campaign duration

Unique Reach

Estimated number of unique individuals who will see the campaign

eCPM

Effective Cost Per Thousand impressions (USD)

Avg Frequency

Average number of times a viewer will see the advertisement

Total Spots

Total number of ad spots across all digital inventories (not applicable for Classic)

Total Price

Estimated total cost in USD for the full campaign

Note: All estimation metrics update dynamically as inventories are added to or removed from the cart. Longer campaign date ranges will produce proportionally higher impressions and total price estimates.

Step 4 — Schedule

The Schedule page allows publishers to configure the advertising schedule for each selected inventory. Digital and Classic inventories are scheduled in separate sequential steps because they have different configuration parameters.

Digital Inventory Scheduling

Field / Setting

Description

Inventory ID & Thumbnail

Billboard reference ID and preview image

Inventory Location

City and state of the billboard

Mode of Operation

Loop Based or Spot Based — set during inventory onboarding

Spots Per Loop

Adjustable using +/− controls. Increasing spots increases Share of Voice (SOV%) and Total Price.

Spots Per Hour

Auto-calculated from Spots Per Loop and Spot Duration

Creative Duration

Duration of the advertisement in seconds

Total Price

Per-inventory cost for the full schedule

Inventory Performance

Individual billboard metrics: Impressions, Unique Reach, Avg Frequency, eCPM

Add Schedule

Creates a new additional schedule block for the same inventory (e.g. different dates, different SOV%)

Edit Schedule

Opens the existing schedule with pre-filled details for modification

Remove Schedule

Deletes the selected schedule block

Note: SOV% (Share of Voice) is dynamically calculated — it is not a direct input. It is determined by: Loop Length, Number of Clients sharing the loop, and Spot Duration. Higher Spots Per Loop = higher SOV% = higher cost. Example: 1 spot in a 10-spot loop = 10% SOV. Increasing to 2 spots = 20% SOV.
