Default Roles

The default roles available per organization type in the Admin Console — Media Owner, Agency, Advertiser, Tech Partner, and Partner roles with their descriptions.

Default Roles

The following default roles are available on the platform:

Media Owner Default Roles

Role

Description

Administrator

Full access to all features. Can manage users, configure settings, and perform all operations within the organization.

Operations Manager

Manages day-to-day operations: screen inventory, scheduling, availability, and operational workflows. Cannot manage billing or user accounts.

Campaign Planner

Plans campaigns, builds media proposals, and manages campaign schedules. Read-only access to inventory and audience data.

Ad Operations

Manages ad serving, creative trafficking, programmatic deal setup, and delivery monitoring.

Content Manager

Manages creative content: upload, review, approval workflows, and content scheduling across screens.

Creative Approver

Reviews and approves or rejects creative submissions. Cannot upload or modify content directly.

Finance Manager

Accesses revenue reports, billing data, invoice generation, and financial reconciliation. Cannot modify operational settings.

Billing Admin

Manages billing configuration, payment methods, invoice disputes, and financial account settings.

Sales Rep

Accesses inventory availability, pricing information, and client communication tools. Can generate proposals but cannot execute campaigns.

Agency Default Roles

Role

Description

Administrator

Full access to all agency features. Manages users, clients, and organizational settings.

Account Director

Oversees client accounts at a strategic level. Can view all campaigns and financial summaries across clients but typically delegates execution.

Account Manager

Manages specific client relationships. Can create and modify campaigns, view performance reports, and communicate with media owners for assigned clients.

Media Planner

Plans media campaigns: audience research, screen selection, budget allocation, and proposal creation. The strategic planning role.

Media Buyer

Executes media purchases: places orders, manages programmatic bids, negotiates rates, and confirms bookings. The tactical buying role.

Creative Director

Oversees creative strategy and reviews creative output. Can approve or reject creatives but does not typically handle media planning or buying.

Creative Manager

Manages creative production: uploads assets, coordinates creative approvals, and ensures creative specifications match screen requirements.

Analyst

Accesses campaign performance data, audience analytics, and reporting tools. Read-only access — can generate reports but cannot modify campaigns.

Advertiser Default Roles

Role

Description

Administrator

Full access to all advertiser features. Manages users, brand settings, and organizational configuration.

Marketing Manager

Plans and oversees marketing campaigns. Can create campaigns, set budgets, and review performance. The primary operational role.

Brand Manager

Manages brand-specific settings, creative guidelines, and brand-level campaign oversight. Focused on brand consistency.

Approver

Reviews and approves campaigns, budgets, and creatives before they go live. A governance role that ensures compliance with brand standards.

Viewer

Read-only access to campaign data, reports, and dashboards. Cannot create or modify anything. Ideal for executives who need visibility without editing capability.

Tech Partner Default Roles

Role

Description

Administrator

Full access to all tech partner features. Manages integrations, seat issuance, and organizational settings.

Account Manager

Manages client relationships for the tech partner. Can issue and manage seats, view client usage, and handle support escalations.

Sales Manager

Accesses sales pipeline tools, prospecting data, and proposal generation. Focused on new business development.

Operations

Manages technical operations: API configurations, integration health monitoring, and seat provisioning. The technical execution role.

Partner Default Roles

Role

Description

Administrator

Full access to all partner features. Manages contracted organizations, users, and partner-level settings.

Account Manager

Manages specific contracted organizations. Can create and configure organizations within the partner's portfolio.

Business Development

Focuses on identifying and onboarding new client organizations. Can initiate organization creation but may not configure contracts.

Solution Architect

Provides technical consultation for client implementations. Can view configuration details and recommend product setups but typically does not execute changes.

Technical Integration

Manages technical integration details: API keys, webhook configurations, data exchange protocols, and integration health monitoring.
