Moving Walls Planner
This guide walks through adding and configuring a physical Panel — the final step of the 6-step Add Inventory workflow in the Moving Walls Planner: Classification → Location → Operations → Pricing & Terms → Media → Panel.
Overview
Step | Purpose |
1. Classification | Categorize the inventory type |
2. Location | Set the geographic location |
3. Operations | Define operating hours and schedule |
4. Pricing & Terms | Set cost, currency, and commercial terms |
5. Media | Upload reference photos of the site |
6. Panel (this guide) | Configure the physical screen face(s) |
Part 1: Starting the Panel Setup
Complete steps 1–5 of the Add Inventory wizard (Classification, Location, Operations, Pricing & Terms, Media). The final step, Panel, opens with a message reading “No panels added yet” — panels define the physical screen faces of the inventory, and at least one is required.
Click “Add Panel” (top right of the panel) or “Add First Panel” (center of the empty state) to create the first panel.
Panel step — no panels added yet
The “Panel 1” card expands, showing fields for Orientation, Facing Direction, Size Category, No. of Screens, Audio Enabled, Touch Enabled, Physical Width/Height (m), and Resolution Width/Height (px). Orientation defaults to Landscape and No. of Screens defaults to 1.

Part 2: Configuring Panel Attributes
Click the “Facing Direction” dropdown and choose the compass direction the panel faces: North, North East, East, South East, South, South West, West, or North West.

Select the appropriate direction (e.g., North East). The field updates to reflect the choice.
Facing Direction set to North East
Toggle “Audio Enabled” on if the panel has integrated audio output.
Audio Enabled toggled on
Toggle “Touch Enabled” on if the panel supports touch interaction.
Touch Enabled toggled on
Enter the Physical Width and Physical Height (in meters). As dimensions are entered, “Size Category” auto-calculates (e.g., “Extra Large”), and “Orientation” may auto-adjust to match the aspect ratio (e.g., switching to “Square”).
Physical Width/Height entered — Size Category and Orientation auto-update
Enter the Resolution Width and Resolution Height (in pixels). Resolution defines the pixel dimensions of the display and is critical for accurate creative asset matching.
Resolution Width/Height entered
Repeat “Add Panel” for any additional screen faces on the same inventory location, then click “Create Inventory” to save the panel(s) and complete the Add Inventory workflow.
